The Kitchen Storm is a timed event in Grow a Garden where you feed Chris P. Bacon to earn points and trigger powerful cooking effects. When you accumulate 40 points by giving him food, the Kitchen Storm will start and last for 10 minutes.
During this time, every additional 40 points will raise the storm’s level, making it more intense and rewarding. Some special recipes—like Sweet Tea—are only available during this event when Chris P. is specifically craving them.
What is Sweet Tea?
Sweet Tea is a limited-time craving recipe introduced in the Kitchen Storm update. You can only make it while Chris P. Bacon is actively requesting it—so if he isn’t craving Sweet Tea, you won’t be able to cook it.
The recipe has multiple rarity tiers (Rare, Legendary, Divine, Prismatic, and Transcendent). Each tier requires unique ingredients, some of which are rare or event-exclusive. The higher the rarity, the more complex the ingredient list.

Step-by-Step Cooking Guide
- Check Chris P.’s Craving
- Open his dialogue and see what he’s asking for. Sweet Tea can only be made if it’s his current craving.
- Gather Ingredients
- Collect all the items listed for your desired rarity from your garden, trades, or event drops.
- Some ingredients like Burning Bud or Candy Blossom may require advanced gardening or special conditions.
- Head to the Cooking Pot
- The pot is located in the center of the island. This is where all cooking happens during Kitchen Storm.
- Add Ingredients
- Equip an ingredient, interact with the pot, and it will be added to the Ingredients List on the left side of the screen.
- Repeat until you’ve added all the required items.
- Cook or Empty
- If you’re ready, press Cook to start making the Sweet Tea.
- If you want to change your recipe, press Empty to get all ingredients back without losing them.
- Collect Your Dish
- Once the cooking finishes, interact with the pot to pick up your Sweet Tea.
- Serve to Chris P. Bacon
- Equip the Sweet Tea.
- Talk to Chris P. and choose “4. Try this food I cooked up!” to give it to him.
